The company began operations in September 2006 (with formal business registration following in October 2007). Through the help and support of many, it has grown into the largest enterprise in China specializing in the supply of nautical publications and technical consulting services. Since its inception, the company has secured authorized distributorships from various industry organizations—including the UKHO, AHO, IMO, ITU, ICS, ISF, TNI, TSO, and the Japan Hydrographic Association (JHA)—and serves as the sole authorized agent in China (including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan) for nautical charts and publications issued by the Egyptian authorities.
Through persistent effort, the company obtained DNV ISO 9001 international quality management system certification in 2011. In 2013, it established a global integrated supply network, enabling it to meet the worldwide supply requirements of any vessel.
The company's main business scope includes: nautical charts and publications from various countries around the world (China Maritime, China Aviation Insurance, Dalian Haid, China Classification Society, UKHO, AHO, IMO, ITU, ICS, ISF, Witherby, OCIMF, TSO, etc.)
The company has been expanding in scale in recent years. It is currently headquartered in Shenzhen with an office area of 357 square meters. It also has a Yantai branch with an area of 287 square meters, a Shanghai branch with an area of 128 square meters, and a Hong Kong branch with an area of 58 square meters. In order to meet the supply needs of ships, the company has currently established the largest book inventory warehouse in China in Shenzhen, and is equipped with the only high-speed POD chart printer authorized by UKHO in mainland China. The advantage of this POD printer is quite obvious. Compared with the old printer, the chart printing speed has been increased from a few sheets per hour to more than 300 sheets. It truly enables orders to be printed at any time and shipped at any time.
In addition to upgrading its hardware, the company continues to increase its investment in personnel and software. We conduct regular professional exchanges and training for our staff; notably, all of our nautical chart correction personnel have completed training courses provided by the UKHO (United Kingdom Hydrographic Office) and hold the corresponding professional certification. Regarding software, our suite—including Ocean Station, PAYS Update, Digital Logbook, Ocean Reader, and our CII (Carbon Intensity Indicator) solution—has received high praise from both shipowners and crew members.
In 2021, we launched a nautical publication tracking system. This system ensures that vessels are promptly notified via email whenever new editions of publications are required, guaranteeing that all onboard documentation remains up to date.
